What we collect

When you submit the intake form, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email, the name of the person charged, county, dates, charges, custody and probation status, citizenship response, and language preference. When you call 1-833-STEVIE-1, we receive your phone number and standard call data, and calls may go to voicemail. The site itself collects standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) through our hosting provider and, once enabled, Google Analytics.

What we use it for

One purpose: responding to your inquiry and, if you hire the firm, representing you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use intake data for marketing lists. Ever.

Confidentiality

Submitting the form or calling does not create an attorney-client relationship, but the firm treats inquiry information as confidential under the professional conduct rules governing prospective clients (Fla. Bar Rule 4-1.18). Do not send details about what happened through this website; save the facts for a privileged conversation with the lawyer.

Who touches the data

Service providers that process data on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting and form processing), our telephone carrier (call routing and voicemail), our legal-industry payment processor (if you make a payment; we never see full card numbers), and Google Analytics (site statistics, once enabled). Each receives only what its function requires. We disclose information if required by law or court order.

Retention and your choices

Inquiry data is kept as long as needed to respond, check conflicts, and satisfy the firm's record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to correct or delete your inquiry data by calling 1-833-STEVIE-1 or writing to the address below; we will honor the request except where retention is required by law or ethics rules. This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
